Yes. Every Bible translation and every Deep Study ships inside the app. You can read on a plane, in a basement or with your data turned off. Nothing is downloaded on demand.

Open Settings in the app and choose a reminder time. The reminder is scheduled on your iPhone; nothing is sent to a server. To turn reminders off, change the setting in the app or go to iPhone Settings › Notifications › Sacred Feed. No part of the app requires notifications.

Yes, with Sacred Feed Premium. Touch and hold your home screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, search for Sacred Feed and pick a size. The widget shows a verse and updates through the day.

Five public-domain English translations: King James Version (KJV), World English Bible (WEB), Berean Standard Bible (BSB), American Standard Version (ASV, 1901) and the Catholic Public Domain Version (CPDV). During setup you pick a faith tradition. That choice sets a starting translation and which books appear: 66 books for Protestant and non-denominational readers, 73 for Catholic readers (CPDV), and 76 for Orthodox readers (WEB with the full deuterocanon). Your tradition stays on your phone and is never sent to analytics. Details and licenses are on the Licenses page.

Yes, at any time in Settings. Your bookmarks, notes and reading position carry over. Switching is instant and works offline because every translation is already on your phone.

Yes. The Catholic canon (Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, 1 and 2 Maccabees, and the longer Daniel and Esther) is in the CPDV. The WEB includes the full set used by Orthodox churches, including 3 Maccabees, 1 Esdras, the Prayer of Manasseh and Psalm 151. Choose the Catholic or Orthodox tradition in setup, or change it later in Settings, and the books appear. Please note that the CPDV is published without ecclesiastical approval (imprimatur).

Free, forever: the whole Bible in every translation, the feed, reading, likes, saved verses, notes, streaks and reminders. Sacred Feed Premium adds Deep Study notes, reading plans, widgets, share cards and removes the upgrade cards from the feed. Premium is a yearly or monthly subscription billed by Apple; the price is shown in the app before you buy.

New subscribers get 7 days free. If you do nothing, the plan you chose starts when the trial ends and Apple charges your Apple Account. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends and you pay nothing. Apple sends a reminder email before the trial converts.

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Subscriptions.
4. Tap Sacred Feed.
5. Tap Cancel Subscription (or Cancel Free Trial) and confirm.

You keep Premium until the end of the period you already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Apple's own guide: support.apple.com/HT202039.

Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought with, then open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. If it does not work, email us with the approximate purchase date.

Apple is the seller for all App Store purchases and handles refunds. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, find Sacred Feed and choose Request a refund. We are unable to issue refunds ourselves, but if something went wrong, tell us anyway so we can fix it.

Not at this time. Each subscription covers one Apple Account.

They are prepared in advance from public-domain commentaries (Matthew Henry, Jamieson-Fausset-Brown, Strong's dictionaries and OpenBible cross references) with the help of large language models, then pass automated checks, a panel of separate AI reviewers and spot checks by the maker before they ship inside the app. Nothing is generated while you use the app and no personal data is sent to any AI. Tap Report an issue at the bottom of the study and tell us what is wrong. You can also email app@sacredfeed.com with the verse reference. We check every report against the sources, and corrections ship in the next app update. Thank you; this is how the studies get better.

Not yet. Thousands of verses, including the most read passages in all 66 books of the Protestant canon, have a Deep Study at launch, and more are added with each update. Verses without a study still have the full text, cross references and notes.

Very little. There is no account. Your reading, notes, bookmarks and streaks stay on your phone, and so does your faith tradition unless you switch on “Share my tradition in analytics” in Settings. The app sends anonymous usage statistics, crash reports and subscription status to a few service providers, and an advertising identifier only if you allow tracking. The Privacy Policy lists every provider and what it receives.

In the app: Settings › Delete my data. This erases everything on your phone and resets the analytics identifiers. To also delete data held by our service providers, email us with the Support ID shown in Settings › Privacy. Step-by-step instructions: Privacy Choices.

iOS requires this prompt before an app can use the advertising identifier. If you tap Allow, we can learn which ad brought you to Sacred Feed. If you tap Ask App Not to Track, nothing changes in the app. You can change your mind in iPhone Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Yes. Settings › Export my data creates a file with everything the app stores on your phone, which you can save to Files or send anywhere you like.

Yes. Verses, studies, buttons and the feed are labeled for VoiceOver. If something is unlabeled or reads in the wrong order, please tell us; we treat it as a bug.

Yes. The app follows Dynamic Type, including the larger accessibility sizes. Change it in iPhone Settings › Accessibility › Display & Text Size › Larger Text. The reading view also has its own text-size control.

Yes. The app respects Reduce Motion. Turn it on in iPhone Settings › Accessibility › Motion › Reduce Motion, and transitions become simple fades. More on our Accessibility page.
