Privacy Choices

Last updated: October 2, 2026. Sacred Feed for iPhone, published by Westeresch B.V. This page shows how to see, control and delete your data. The full Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why.

We do not sell or share personal information. There is no account. Your reading, notes and bookmarks stay on your iPhone, and your faith tradition does too unless you choose to share it. The choices below cover the little that leaves it: anonymous usage statistics, crash reports, subscription status and, only with your permission, an advertising identifier.

Say no to tracking

The only thing in Sacred Feed that counts as tracking under Apple's rules is sharing the advertising identifier (IDFA) with our attribution provider to see which ad brought you to the app. This happens only if you tapped Allow in the iOS prompt. To turn it off:

  1. Open iPhone Settings.
  2. Tap Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
  3. Turn off the switch next to Sacred Feed, or turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track for every app.

Nothing in the app changes when you do this.

Export your data

Open Sacred Feed, go to Settings › Export my data. The app creates a file with your notes, bookmarks, likes, reading history, streaks and settings. Save it to Files or share it anywhere you like. The file is made on your phone; we never receive it.

Delete all app data

Open Sacred Feed, go to Settings › Delete my data and confirm. This erases everything the app stores on your phone and resets the random identifiers used for analytics, so future statistics cannot be connected to past ones. Deleting the app from your home screen has the same effect on local data.

Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in iPhone Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions.

Ask our service providers to delete their copy

Usage statistics, crash reports and subscription records are held by the providers named in the Privacy Policy (Amplitude, AppsFlyer, Google Firebase Crashlytics, Adapty). To have them deleted:

  1. In the app, open Settings › Privacy and copy the Support ID. It is a random code; it is the only way we can find records tied to your device, because we have no account for you.
  2. Email app@sacredfeed.com with the subject "Delete my data" and paste the Support ID. You can also use the form on /support/ with the topic "Privacy request".
  3. We send deletion requests to each provider and confirm to you when they are done, within 30 days (45 days where US state law applies).

Subscription records that tax law requires us to keep are retained for the legal period and used for nothing else. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to object to its use, by the same email.

Notifications

Daily reminders are optional and scheduled on your phone. Change the time or turn them off in the app's Settings, or in iPhone Settings › Notifications › Sacred Feed. No feature requires notifications.

Your faith tradition

The tradition you choose is used on your device to pick a translation and the list of books. By default it is not sent anywhere. If you want to help us understand which traditions use the app, switch on Share my tradition in analytics in Settings; it is then sent as one anonymous property to our product analytics and never to advertising partners. Switch it off at any time and it is deleted from analytics.

Website

sacredfeed.com sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites, so there is nothing to opt out of. We honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a request not to sell or share personal information, which we never do in any case. If you write to us through the support form, your message is deleted once answered, within 12 months at most.
